These globes are safe, captivating tools for demonstrating the excitation of electrons, photon emission, and lightning. Globes are powered by AC adapters (included).
These magnets are the perfect size and strength for use with our Magnetic Field Demonstrator (item #758609) to show magnetic lines of force. Poles are stamped for easy identification. Unpainted. Size, 3 x 1/2 x 1/4". One pair.
Set consists of four 3.2-cm-sq cubes, each constructed of a different metalaluminum, brass, copper, and steeland containing a hook.
Use with slotted masses (not included). Measures 16 cm and weighs 50 g.
Grades 912. Enable students to observe the magnetic field generated around current flowing in a wire with the Ampère’s Rule Apparatus. Using the apparatus, they can learn about the right-hand rule and characterize how magnetic fields vary with distance. Students can also study magnetic fields created by a current in planes perpendicular and parallel to a wire. Includes a manual, one 45-mm compass, and six 16-mm compasses. Size, about 17.5 x 7.5 x 10 cm. Requires a regulated DC power supply and banana/alligator cords (not included).
