Test conductivity in the classroom or field with this portable battery-powered meter. For a quick visual comparison of conductivity, press and hold the side button, and then touch both brass prongs to a solid or submerge them at least 1" into a liquid. Easily read conductivity, from 1 (low) to 10 (high), on the green LEDs. Release the button, clean the probes with water, and you are ready to test again. Includes battery and operating instructions. A small Phillips screwdriver is needed but not supplied.
Works in common test solutions such as tap water, vinegar, baking soda solution, or varying concentrations of salt water. To prevent corrosion, clean the prongs with water before storage.
Body measures 2-1/2" L x 1-1/2" H x 7/10" W (65 mm L x 38.1 mm H x 17 mm W).Total unit length (including prongs) is 5-1/2" (140 mm).
